John Wood

Mr. Wood has over 20 years of international business consulting experience. He was trained as a lawyer in the UK. Mr. Wood was one of the pioneers of e-commerce, and has over 15 years of experience. He was director of E-Commerce at KPMG. Mr. Wood has done consulting work for AFN, Royal Dutch Shell and Williams. He has been the President of the Playfair Group for the last eight years. Mr. Wood is the author of Russia the Asymmetric Threat to the United States: A Potent Mixture of Energy in Missiles. The book represented the culmination of over 30 years of studying and travelling to Russia. He is an expert on the Russian oil and gas industry.

Sam Steele

Over the last 30 years, Mr. Steele has negotiated oil and gas deals worth over $9.2 billion.  He was with Union Oil Company of California (UNOCAL) over 12 years, beginning as a Petroleum Landman, and advancing to District Land Manager of the Mid-Continent and Rocky Mountain Districts. Mr. Steele was also Director of Business Development and Real Property for Calpine Corporation. As President of Benchmark Petroleum Services, he entered into a joint venture with Alpine Gas Company of Denver that resulted in the discovery of the Pinedale Anticline, at that time, the second largest gas field in America.

Randy Stalcup

Mr. Stalcup has been in the Oil and Gas exploration and property acquisition business for over 30 years, working his way up from Landman and Lease Broker to Vice-President of two different concerns and Acquisition Manager of two other concerns . He has worked for three public companies including Pennzoil Exploration and Production Company, as well as two private companies. Mr. Stalcup was the Vice President for Business Development at Mallon Oil. He was also Vice President Land for Potoco, managing all aspects of land and property acquisition.
